2 kilometers long, constructed of high-quality asphalt, providing a smooth and consistent surface for testing NCAP protocols

Our track has been designed to simulate real-world driving scenarios and replicate different traffic conditions directly. One of the essential factors for testing the active safety of vehicles is the total lengths of 2000m, making it suitable also for tests at higher speeds. With an peak braking coefficent not below 0.9, it makes it an ideal location for conducting tests that require a high level of accuracy and precision.

Weather

Zagreb and Velika Gorica have continental climate and temperatures rarely drop below freezing. Generally, mild weather conditions with moderate temperatures, low humidity, and little precipitation are considered optimal for vehicle testing.

4activeDR-Driving Robot is an advanced computer-controlled system for dynamic ADAS and NCAP tests with vehicles on proving grounds or test tracks. It controls the vehicle by operating the steering wheel, accelerator pedal and brake pedal. The modular actuator design and flexible application software allows scenario execution with lateral motion, longitudinal motion or combination of both movements.

Closed-loop, or open-loop operation modes are available, in order to perform standard and customized test procedures with robotic precision and repeatability. All system components are designed for a fast installation within 10 minutes whatever vehicle and without any modification.

4activeEQ-Wall
The 4activeEQ-Wall is a crucial tool for testing the effectiveness of Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB) systems for vulnerable road users (VRU), such as bicyclists. This full view blocking obstruction is specifically designed to simulate real-world scenarios in which a vehicle may not be able to see a bicyclist on the road due to various obstacles. The 4activeEQ-Wall is built to run parallel to the bicycle path and is a permanent fixture, ensuring consistency in testing. It is designed to meet the requirements outlined in the EURO NCAP Test Protocol for AEB VRU Systems, which are the standard for testing the safety performance of vehicles in Europe.

The Euro NCAP Labs are currently using the 4activeEQ-Wall as an important part of their testing procedures, to evaluate the AEB systems of different vehicles and to ensure that they provide an adequate level of protection for bicyclists. The AVL Smart ADAS Analyzer software is an independent and open solution for evaluation and reporting of active safety tests and seamlessly links into 4activeSystems test equipment and test workflow. It allows instantaneous online validation of ADAS (e.g. NCAP) tests during test execution, advanced test analysis, fast report generation and provides sophisticated workflow automation for high rated NCAP results in a very short cycle.

The dummies are applicable as a static or moving object.
